Initially this web site focused on women issues and interests. Now and before, women
are faced with many social issues. This manuscript highlights the historical perspectives of a young Haitian woman living
in Haiti in the early 1800's.
The struggles of the people with themselves are what stand out
the most, after all there were no more colonists to restrict them. After
the slaves were freed, what other partitions did they have to confront?
